The following is the information about Technical Committee on NMI Development TC-3 NMI Development Terms of Reference Promote the establishment of National Metrology Institutes (NMI's) and produce project proposals for submission to SADC Governments and potential funding agencies on the establishment of National Measurement Standards in those SADC countries, which currently have no such facilities, in the context of the SADC SQAM Programme. Framework At the first meeting of TC-3 it was agreed to add Seychelles and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the membership list and to amend the proposed terms of reference slightly to the above version. At the second meeting it was agreed to add Botswana as well. Members All SADCMET members.
